I usually attend morning classes at Graham Webb from 9-3:30. This morning I woke up extra early to finish some things and catch the metro into rosslyn. Turns out I signed up for night class today ( which I completely forgot) so I could of took my precious time and slept in :/ these are the repercussions of not keeping track of my schedule. So im stuck in Rosslyn, have 4 hours to kill but it’s all good cause this gives me an opportunity to catch up on some reading and journal writing. I’m currently surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of Artisphere, an artcenter in Rosslyn, Virginia. It has 3 visual art galleries, 4 performance venues, wifi, and a cafe bar..it’s a pretty neat spot. I highly recommend this spot, they always have exciting programs and exhibits. Anyways I just read an article on an art project they have recently launched. It is an interactive public art project that invites people to contribute to an open, ongoing conversation on what art means to you in your daily life. Pick up an Art Everyday decal at ARtisphere and throughout the month of June, you can take a photo of the decal in a manner or place that resonates to you and upload the image through artisphere.com

Neat stuff :)
